Hollie & Adrian!

Hello Everyone!

Happy NEW YEAR! (seriously, when do we stop saying this?!) I hope you had the most wonderful Christmas and ready to embrace 2019! Here’s to making it the best year yet! YAS! BRING IT ON!

I found I really enjoyed putting these Blog posts together last year, so I thought I’d kick start us off with one heck of an EPIC wedding this year - introducing Boutique Bride, Hollie & hubby, Adrian!

I first met Hollie a good two years before her wedding day and as soon as she walked through the Boutique door we didn’t stop laughing (and talking about our dogs, we both have Frenchies - LOVE!!) Hollie has the most amazing style which she totally embraces on a day to day basis and I think every-time we had an appointment Hollie’s hair colour was completely different to the previous time! When it came to the dress - we knew Hollie needed a dress / separates / outfit which embraced her unique sense style and represented who she was perfectly! We tried on a selections of dresses - but as soon as we put Greta by E&W Couture on we all knew it was the one! Greta is a wildly romantic gown with a vintage 70's feel. The standout guipure lace makes this dress like no other with the design running horizontally on the bodice and vertically down the fitted skirt and sleeves. Tulle godets from the knee give this gown a kick flare and hidden movement, which was perfect for Hollie when climbing over gates and onto trees in her Swedish Hasbeen!

And as you can see in the amazing photos captured by Through The Woods We Ran, Hollie opted for a fitted bodice and a high low hem line skirt to wear underneath Greta, which also gave Hollie the option of an outfit change mid way through the day! Sophie (the designer from E&W Couture) also created a bespoke Greta box-top which was perfectly for Hollie to party the night away in!

Hollie and Adrian had a church wedding followed by a reception in their back garden! (Yes, I know, how amazing is that, and how epic does it look!) I ADORE all the scrumptious blooms EVERYWHERE nestled in-between lightbulbs and dream catchers! These amazing floral delights were created by the awesome Forbsfield, I mean seriously, just look at Hollie’s bouquet, OOF! And not to mention that flower crown too - WHAT A DREAM!

Hollie and Adrain’s wedding caterers were - wait for it - The Pen Y Lan Pantry (as if this wedding couldn’t get any bloody cooler!) I love how they embraced so many local suppliers - and on behalf of us all, thank you Hollie & Adrain, it means so much to us!! It’s so lovely to meet couples who are equally passionate about supporting us small independent business! Now back to the food - I mean - what can I say -I honestly can’t find any words other than - TOTALLY AMAZING! I’ll let the photo’s say it all!!!!!!

Also keep a look out in the photos for Hollie’s gorgeous heart painted nails, so adorable! These were painted by Apples Beauty and Hollies hair was styled by Blunt Salon!

And finally - can we all take a moment to give a standing ovation to the two pooches who played a key role in the day too! Well done you beautiful four legged friends - you too looked awesome!

Huge congratulations Hollie & Adrian! You had a wedding that completely represented you guys - and that is bloody marvellous! Hollie - you are a true JOY of a woman! I LOVED our appointments and all the chats we had (about dogs and food - in my eyes, those are the the key things in life! YAS!)

Big love, Cariad mawr,

Rachel Burgess
